Dear All,
The Committee had a small meeting last evening, many current students being busy this week. Thank you to the people who came! We had a preliminary discussion on some representation and diversity issues and worked on Draft Article 9. We didn't get through the other articles but should be able to finish them all next week. So we are off our target of completing the draft articles by the end of November (we hope, off by just a few days!). We will circulate the current draft language of Article 9 - Audrey is typing up what we came up with - Thank you, Audrey!
So, here are the major tasks remaining:
(1) completion of the Statutes
(2) translation into English
(3) circulation of the Statutes and the a description of the board positions to eligible persons, with election date
(4) inscription and elections.
