Articles 14 and 15 adopted, 9 sketched out

We had good attendance at the meeting this evening. We got a new member, Asier. Welcome, Asier! And thank you for your contributions.

1. Draft Articles 14 and 15 adopted. We adopted the text of Draft Articles 14 and 15, concerning modification of the Statutes, and dissolution of the Association. They attracted unexpected interest and debate! Please find the text of those two draft articles, below.

2. Major work on Draft Article 9 completed. Then we started working on Draft Article 9, sketching out the positions that will make up the Association's Committee. This required a lot of thought and discussion to make sure that the positions will cover the functions that the establishing Committee wants to see in the Association's Committee. There was a lot of action on the blackboard and eventually it all paid off. We sketched out five positions with their major functions. Audrey, who recorded the final results, is summarising that information. This will be circulated, and we will draft the final language on Article 9, along with Articles 10 and 12, next week. We would also like to do any new articles and clean-up next week.

Please note- once we complete Article 9 next week, we will then circulate the position descriptions. Elections will be the second week of December. More information on that forthcoming.
