It is a pleasure for me to address to all of you for stating the reasons why I would like to be STUDENT AFFAIRS OFFICER of the ADH Student Association, which combines professional and academic work with social activities, and definitely will give us a complete experience during this year at the Academy.
First of all, this is a great opportunity to have an intercultural exchange with people from all over the world, in a framework of mutual respect and tolerance, with different ideas and positions. Although each of us have a different background we share common interests and most important a unique goal: SUCCESS.
As STUDENT AFFAIRS OFFICER of the Association I would commit myself to represent and defend the interests of the Academy Students in front of the governing bodies within the Academy, the University of Geneva and others. My personal goal is to hear your concerns and be an active advocate of them among the decision-making bodies.
Moreover, this association is made by the students and for the students. Therefore, I will encourage everybody to participate in the creation of the working-plan. As well as encourage the elected people to compromise themselves to achieve all the established goals.
In addition, I will promote the organization of conferences with functionaries of international organizations, NGO’s, and of course people from the academic world, which will provide us with the chance to build some relationships and at the same time learn something new. In other words, my personal interest in the Association rests in my intention to create opportunities for all of us to have the opportunities we need to make our way in this competitive world.
Besides, the Association will be a great way to meet each other and also students from other programs by organizing different social activities that allow us to relax from all the hard work we have. There is no doubt, to achieve these goals, it is necessary the will and participation of all of us.
Finally, those students who know me have witnessed my dedication to all the endeavors I undertake and my open and frank character. If I am chosen for this position I compromise myself to give the best of me, to achieve all the goals of the Association and at the end obtain a benefit for all the members.
