Consultation question no. 1: Student interests
The first question for current and former students of ADH and CUDIH is, what are the essential interests of the students that need to be represented? Please feel free to write comments to this question, or to email the Committee at adh.etudiants@gmail.com. Input of former students would be very helpful.

Well I started from the begining from the question number one and will go up. Maybe this all is already discussed, but I will try to write what I think.
What are main problems we want to solve?
Let`s say people who come to Geneva can face two kind of problems:
1. living in Geneva and all related to that (maybe not related to studies so lot, but very complicated from the beginning: housing, all related to documents, u know it all very well we faced all this)
2. all questions related to studies (but we want to know what are the main areas we should focus on) From the one hand We study whole year and there are many things Academy organises but our participation is let`s say passive. Maybe I would like to see even conference organised by the ADHSA, or even alumni conference every year, or yearbook of students or graduates, but it all depends on the question what do we want to do? And other part is that there are many problems which student can face during studies. I wil bring couple of examples: scholarships, exams, grades, appeals, problem of most documents in UNIGE being only in french, or having some events organised more in English (like Simulation without translation). These are only examples I just wanted to raise questions and want to see what you think about it all and if i am on right direction.
Aram, Thanks so much for your comments. You have expressed what a lot of people have said in our consultations. The way you have divided the issues is really helpful. Could we say that your category (1) is something like 'All aspects of student life'?
The Committee thinks these are important interests, and that they can be served. Our new Draft Article 2 includes as the object of the ADH-SA to welcome new students (which was in the CUDIH Statutes as well).
Comments are welcomed to elaborate such interests that the ADH-SA should look after.
With respect to your category (2), you've raised a number of issues. The first three could perhaps be summarised as follows: (a) all aspects of the M.A.S., (b) academic development and programming, (c) alumni events and communications. With (d) problems, you have raised a number of problems that (it is submitted) should be important to everyone. It seems that some of these issues touch on making sure all students are on a level playing field and have the same fair chances of success. Those problems seem to touch on shared community values, perhaps, of our student association and of our program, being equality and respect for diversity, among others.
Other comments/responses welcomed! Thanks, Aram, for kicking this off!
